The Hair Cut

Every month, one time I visit the beauty salon in my living area to get my hair cut.  At that time when I visited the hair shop was August, so it was very hot weather in Korea.  When I visited there, nobody stayed except a woman cutter.  When she cutted my hair almost half of my hair, she rapidly went out without telling me.  I thought she had something wrong for her stomach problem, so she had to go to the toilet.

As I sat on the chair and waited for her to come back with patience.  Although I waited for her over 10 minutes, she didn’t come back.  After 10 minutes after I waited for her to come back, a woman came into the beauty salon and she said to me, “she is my neighbor of the area,” she said “I am very sorry because I have stomach problem, so please go back to your home and come back here after 2 hours, then I can finish your hair cutting.”  I was supprised and at a loss, in this hair image how can I go outside? my hair is now left half.  If somebody look at me they think he is mad or out of mind, they will laugh at me ridiculously.

But I had to go back home and after 2 hours I came back to beauty salon to finish my hair cut.  When she look at me again she said, “I am auwfully very sorry for my mistake, forgive my mistake. In fact, I have a long time stomach problem, When I feel pain of the belly, I can not endure. I must take some medicine pill and take a rest on the bed. Because of this sickness I couldn’t marry till now, at the age of 52years old. Every week, one time I have to go to see the doctor and check the body and take a week medicine pill. I have take medicine pill whenever I feel pain for the body and belly.”

After she finish my hair cut, I was about to hurry to come out from the beauty salon. At that time in my deep spirit, Lord said to me,  “I want to heal her, I want to show my mercy to her. Why don’t you pray for her for a little while before you go back?”

I decided to obey Lord’s order.  I suggested her, “May I pray for you?”

She asked me, “what do you want to pray for me?  We meet here each other for the first time. We don’t know each other. So why do you pray for my sickness?”

I answered her, “My serving Lord, merciful God asked me to pray for you, then He will recover your health without sickness, He will heal you completely.”

She said, “Really can God heal me now through your prayer? I have stomach pain sickness over 30 years long.”

I responded her boldly, “Our Almighty God can do everything, actually there is no impossibility to God, our Lord, Creator. If we pray with the living faith, He will hear and heal you now.”

Then I sat down on the bench opposite her chair, I prayed for her healing about 3 minutes.  After I finished prayer, I, by faith, declared to her, “God healed you, so you don’t need take pill everyday, our God is our wonderful healer.”

Next morning after I waked up, I called her. “Did you sleep well last night without taking pill?”

She said, “for a long time, first time I slept soundly very well without medicine pill.  Maybe God healed me yesterday through your prayer for me.”

I checked and checked her whether she slept well without pill for several days.  She gave me the same answer,  “Yes, I did sleep very well without pain, nor taking pill after God’s healing.”  We gave full thanksgiving to God for giving us healing from her long time sickness. Amen!
